Izzy the intelligent iguana is isolated in her igloo imagining ice blocking with Ian the insane ibis.
THE PERSONAL STORY:
Lauren and her high school friends use to go ice-blocking. It is a Californian form of warm weather sledding. mo had never heard about it until writing the book. She always thought Lauren was pulling her leg but since then have met others who have gone ice blocking !! Sounds like a great underground society !! LOL
THE ART STORY:
This setting was very fun to create. Mixing the daydream with Izzy’s Igloo while conveying the action
of the animals at play.
ENVIRONMENT: the arctic type landscape complete with igloo atop an incline !!
